My Wife is 30

Last week, well 8/23/2008 we celebrated Sarah’s big 3-0. She turned 30 on 8/21 but we have those pesky things called jobs that often get in the way of ultimate celebratory occasions. When my friends and I all eventually turned 30 we said it was when we became officially old. I told Sarah this, because everybody has to know when they can no longer get away with “youthful” behavior. Without getting into too much detail about what this entails because everybody has their own personal views about what “youthful” behavior is, and we need to remind folks that parents will be reading this too. If there are youthful indescretions of our 20s to be known, and you know them, than you know who you are and you know why you know them. We are not mysterious people by nature but we can’t tell everybody, and we can’t tell you why.

Anyway, to celebrate my wifes passage into official adulthood we went out for a very nice time with some good friends at the Cheesecake Factory. A friend and his wife ate their lucious meals and then dug into sharing a single huge peice of cheesecake (thats so sweet). Sarah and I cannot do that because it will be a cold day in H E double hockey sticks when we can agree on a flavor. So we spent money on 2 huge peices of cheesecake, after we ate our succulent meals. The two cheesecakes cannot be considered a youthful indescretion, we are over 30 now people!
