My Friend Ron

This blog entry is in reference to Ron Goralski’s recent blog entry regarding a need to possibly obtain some ankle bone from a dead person. We fathom that the said dead person would be someone who donated their body to science. Ron requested that if anybody had any cadavers hanging around in the basement he would like to inspect them. Inasmuch as this is not a more sanitary way to get your replacements bones, we feel bad that we didn’t know he wanted to look at the bodies for good ankle bones, Jeremy just got rid of the basement-stored cadavers last week, if we knew ahead of time Ron would be needing to inspect them for worthy ankles we would have waited a bit longer before hauling them out to the wood chipper in back. On the bright side though, the compost pile is doing rather well now despite the cold.

By the way Ron, we have purchased a high definition television, thats what it met.We FINALLY have bought a flat TV. I was beginning to think we were the last people to get one out of the folks we know. But alas, our friend Kristen told us her father just bought one as well, just in time for our tradition Super Bowl party at his house. Its a 60 inch hung on the wall. Our new one is only 22 inches because Jeremy needs more referrals before we can spring for the 60 inch.

  1. maybe i’m the last person not to have one of those TVs. i bought mine about 8 years ago…

next time check with me before disposing of any unwanted bones…

  2. rotflmao jeremy, this is like the best one yet! btw, the tv, i found was not on teh wall, they apparently also bought a new entertainment center to go with the tv, so it is on the stand in the middle. now we can block the hallway to the front door with chairs instead of the entrance to the bathroom! i will have to check and see if i still have that cadaver hanging around… i just realized it may be in the cedar closet in my parents basement with the rest of my junk. at any rate, rest assured, we do not have a flat TV, and it is quite likely that we will be the last known people on the planet to get one. i should, however, be quite proud of the ‘rents, considering they didn’t get a microwave or a vcr until i was practically moved out of the house!
