If I opened a small restaurant or deli… By Jeremy
Would you all come and eat at my place if I opened it? Deli fare would include bar-b-q club snadwiches, BLTs, homemade kettle chips or fries, cubesteak sandwiches, ceasar salad w/or w/o grilled chicken, loaded nachos, and of course my awesome chili that it seems noone can get enough of when I serve it up or make it for parties. Sarah also makes some kick ass homemade baked beans, and also some great waldorf salad with bacon w/or w/o apples. To wash it all down we would have Avery’s gourmet sodas from right here in New Britain. Also an assortment of New England area micro brews from Maine to Connecticut, assortments from CT’s Wine trail, and tap water because as we all know, bottled water is really tap water anyway, don’t even try to deny it although we all pay extra for it like sheep led astray. Get a meal with a soda or fruit juice forĀ or a meal with a beer or glass of wine for just between 4 and 9 bucks. Menu will change seasonally. The above is just a sampling of foods I would make. Let me tell you, you haven’t had pasta until you’ve had it with a particular type of greek cheese on top instead of sauce, its like crack. Also a grilled cheese sandwich isn’t a grilled cheese sandwich until its made with Tillamook cheese, and a particular type of ham. Now for those of you who are true deli lovers, there would be pickles on the side. I don’t like pickles, but I understand the importance of them.

So sorry I didn’t get here last night as I had promised, I made that dreaded trip to the grocery store, but it was for the week’s groceries, not for bread and milk. Any way, you rock, and I would totally eat at your place!
