The show was freaking great. Unforgettable Fire is a top notch cover band and while they are not as good as “2U” which is the only U2 cover band fully endorsed by U2, they still rocked and the look was equally as pleasing. Rookies was absolutely packed. Its the largest crowd we’ve seen there out of the bands we have gone there to see. We guessed people were out in droves due to the nice weather CT enjoyed yesterday and they also needed to get their U2 fix since the new CD “No Line On The Horizon” came out last Tuesday. U2 has yet to put the concert schedule on their website to find out when the real Bono, Edge, Adam, and Larry are coming to “a town near you”. Incidently, the better of the U2 cover bands “2U” will be playing at The Blackbear Saloon, Hartford, CT on St. Patricks Day night starting at 10 pm.
