One I can say here and what I have always said, it is very difficult for the American President to make decisions concerning our own country, let alone other countries when he has to insert himself into situations. I do not envy the job and would not want to do it for all the money in the world. Our presidents are under a lot of pressure on a daily basis and literally carry the weight of the world. I know as a Bush fan that he made some very hard decisions and they were not always for the best and in our best interest, but any one of us could have made the same decisions and here some people sit and criticize. Bill O’reilly interviewed President Obama before the Super Bowl yesterday and asked him questions about the worst part of the job and the most surprising aspect of the job. Obama told him that it is difficult because as president you know that every single piece of paper that lands on his desk is a situation that nobody else in the world has been able to solve. Everything else out there is small and can be solved by just about anybody else, but it will only land on the desk in the Oval Office because it has not been able to be fixed by anybody, and now that pressure moves to him. And I have to agree, because that is of course the way it is for every single president. I have not agreed with anything Obama has done, and I am not a fan. For all of the ignorant people out there who always shout that conservatives do not like Obama because of race, JUST SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! It is not race. I would have voted for Condi Rice if she ran, I would have even voted for Bill Cosby if he felt so inclined. Its the views, its the views, its the views, the leftist views. The same stuff for which people did not like Wilson, Roosevelt, even Clinton to an extent. Last I checked those guys weren’t black.
But what our current leader said in that O’Reilly interview is just absolutely true, the presidents job is very hard, and you know as president that no matter what you do or say, there will ALWAYS be somebody that is pissed off at you. He also told O’Reilly that just as Bush said in a previous interview, he does not get annoyed or insulted when the polls show that so many people are against him. He said that to even get into the White House, you have to have already developed a pretty thick skin. Yes sir. Well said.
